SKI AND BOARD SHOW 2008

So I was working all weekend at the Ski and Board Show assisting the Organisers Office, when i was asked to do it, I thought ok cool, just another standard show, nothing special, it'll be worth it when i get the pay cheque.. I'm the kinda girl who loves sun, and hates cold weather and snow, so you'd guess I'd show no actual interest in the show itself.
My oh my, did I enjoy my weekend. NOTE. my phone died. And I'm the only one in my house on my network so i went from this;
to a.. no.. noo I can't do it. I can't put a picture up. *tears well up.* To a phone without a camera. that looks like a brick. And i didnt have a camera with me. Sorry guys.

Celebrating its 20th year at the NEC, the British Ski and Board Show featured some mind blowing Big Air Freestyle demonstrations from World and Olympic Champions on Europe’s largest indoor ramp.

Sponsored by The Daily Telegraph, this year’s show featured Big Air 2008, in which the world’s best skiers and snowboarders performed freestyle aerial displays, jumping off a 45-degree ramp.

The Boarders..
DANNY MORANDINI

This guy was wicked. A former Intermilan football player, looks a bit like Woody Harrelson!
LUCY LIEBERHERR

This beautiful talented Swiss chica had an infectious smile, and was pretty neat on the ramp. Sorry guys i wasnt note taking enough, was really not expecting to come home intending to write a blog on my day.
The Freestyle Skiers..

MISRA NOTO

LUKAS VOKATY

NICO THEPAUT
French. Came 3rd in World Cup Aerial Title 2008

The Aerialists..
ALES VALENTA

CHRISTIAN RIJAVEC
Austrian. Best Aerialist in the last 10 years. Did a high flying twisting double. WHoo. I remember this guy well. His goatee was fooony.

The talent was mint. I was literally sneaking out to watch as many of the shows as i could, they were the same each time but I loved watching it all!
:'( Wish i could do that.
